LANNION, France, Nov. 30 -- HighWave Optical Technologies, supplier of components and dense wavelength division multiplexing subsystems for high-speed optical telecommunications networks, will refocus its strategy on its core business of amplifiers and multiplexers and will streamline its production geographically as part of its restructuring.
The restucturing will result in the closing of its Tregastel and Les Ulis sites and reduced output in its Rennes production site. The company said it will also further cut its workforce to about 160 and rigourously control costs.
