Analogic Corp. said it has signed a lease for a 200,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Haverhill, Mass., for production of its EXplosive Assessment Computed Tomography (EXACT) systems. Analogic has received an order for up to 1,000 of the systems from L-3 Communications for use in its eXaminer EDX 6000 Explosive Detection System, which are in turn being purchased by the US Government and installed at major US airports to scan checked luggage for aircraft.   . . .   David Parker was named president and and CEO of Southampton Photonics effective April 16.
