Rolyn Optics offers neutral and spectrally selective absorption filters from stock. They are 3 mm thick, which minimizes transmission differences caused by small variations in thickness. The company says the filters are suitable for use as standards for color and density because of their high degree of stability and relative insensitivity to tilt angle. Spectral properties are good to 250 °C, and the linear dimensions of the filters are ±0.25 mm. They are available individually or as a set of 12.
