AIXTRON AG announced it has received orders for its AIX 2600G3 HT MOCVD systems from Shanghai LanBao Photoelectric Material Co. Ltd. for mass production of GaN-based LEDs. The systems will be installed in LanBao’s new production facilities in Shanghai. . . . Carl Pickard has been named president of Raytek Corp., which makes noncontact infrared temperature measurement instruments for industrial, maintenance and quality control applications. He replaces Cliff Warren, who retired in February. Jim Musbach was named executive vice president and general manager of Raytek's portable products and automation divisions, effective immediately. Raytek, based in Santa Cruz, Calif., was acquired by Fluke Corp., a subsidiary of Danaher Corp., in September.
