Kopin Corp. of Taunton, Mass., under a contract from Raytheon Co. of Lexington, Mass., will supply its CyberDisplay 640M microdisplay systems for military applications. Kopin's active-matrix liquid crystal display met Raytheon's reliability, image quality, weight and power requirements for operation as the IR viewing device on a thermal sight for US Army- and Marine-issued M-4 and M-16 rifles.
