SBG Labs Secures DigiLens' Trademarks

SBG Labs Inc. of Sunnyvale, Calif., has purchased the patents and trademarks of DigiLens Inc., also of Sunnyvale, a former developer of optical components based on electrically switchable Bragg gratings. With the intent to offer display products and services under the former company's trademark, SBG has begun supplying the DigiLens Holodisplay transparent liquid crystal display for digital camera viewfinders, and the ASOE application-specific optical elements for OEMs in the international consumer, automotive and specialty display markets. The acquisitions were made through an open bid foreclosure sale.
