SPIE Elects 2004 Officers and Directors

BELLINGHAM, Wa., Jan. 14 -- James Bilbro, assistant director and chief technician for optics at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) NASA, was elected 2004 president of the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE), the association announced this week. Malgorzata Kujawinska was elected 2004 vice president of SPIE. Kujawinska is a professor of applied optics at the Department of Mechatronics, Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), where she is also head of the optical engineering division at the Institute of Micromechanics and Photonic.
