The new laser diode modules from Rolyn Optics Co. are suited for applications such as positioning, alignment, measurement and robotic control. These red diodes are available in four models with either circular or elliptical spots. They include the diode, optics and power supply, and operate at 635, 650 and 670 nm. Optical output power ranges from 0.9 to 17 mW, and expected lifetime is >20,000 h. All diodes are index-guided.
