Using single-axis digital electronics, the Digital Control Center DC900 series servo drivers from Cambridge Technology provide DSP-based galvanometer control for maximum system performance, ease of integration and long-term stability. Configured for its 62XX galvanometers, the drivers' model-based state-space algorithms enable scanning speeds beyond those achieved by analog PID servos, and the simulation-based prefiltering algorithms optimize motion control. The drivers provide system identification, self-tuning and calibration at power-up, while their bridge amplifier output enables rapid galvanometer small- and large-angle step response times. They also feature galvo parameter identification and fitting for positioning accuracy, and 16-bit A/D and D/A resolution for system accuracy.
