Nominations are being accepted for the 2005-2006 American Institute of Physics (AIP) Prize for Industrial Applications of Physics. The $10,000 prize, co-sponsored by General Motors Corp. and the AIP, is awarded on behalf of the AIP Corporate Associates for outstanding contributions by an individual to the industrial applications of physics. The award will be presented at the annual Corporate Associates meeting, Nov. 6-8 in Gaithersburg, Md.
