On the Edmund Optics board, Stevens will join Tom Cellucci, president of Zytek Corp.; Frank Manganaro, CEO of Nova Biomedical; Carol Langer, CFO and vice president of LTX Corp.; Peter Strittmatter, director of the University of Arizona's Steward Observatory; Joan Husted, corporate consultant; and Robert Edmund, CEO of Edmund Optics.    . . .    Fusion UV Systems Inc., a Gaithersburg, Md., manufacturer of ultraviolet curing and fusion equipment for adhesive, coating, ink, paint and similar applications, has named Rich Sales Co., based in Scottsdale, Ariz., as its manufacturer's representative in Central America. Rich Sales has an office (Fortech Microabrasivos de DR SA) in San Jose, Costa Rica. Fusion UV Systems is a member company of Spectris plc, of Surrey, England.    . . .    Radiant Imaging is offering a free software utility, Color Calculator 1.0, that performs a variety of colorimetric and photometric calculations and conversions. The calculator provides a simple means to plot data points on a CIE chromaticity chart (standards set by the International Commission on Illumination, abbreviated as CIE from its French title, Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage). It can be used to calculate the color difference between two points on the CIE chart and to graph spectral power distribution for a source; it also transforms data between various color models, such as CIE xy, uv and u'v', and converts most common illuminance and luminance units. The software also includes mathematical definitions for photometric quantities such as luminance, illuminance, luminous flux and luminous intensity. Color Calculator 1.0 is compatible with Windows 98/XP/NT/2000. It is available for download at www.radiantimaging.com. For a CD copy, call (425) 844-0152.
