KEENE, N.H., Aug. 2 -- Precision optics maker Janos Technology dedicated its new 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Keene, N.H., where it has moved from Townshend, Vt., at a ribbon-cutting Thursday presided over by New Hampshire Gov. Janos, which has 85 employees, converted an existing warehouse in the Blackbrook Industrial Park and added a second story to the building. Its parent company, the Monroe Group of Oakbrook, Ill., invested $10 million in the project. Janos has permits for a 17,000-square-foot addition to the new plant. The facility features an open, modular workstation setup and an inline metrology system that Janos said enables maximum flexibility.
