David C. Wang was appointed to the board of KLA-Tencor Corp. of San Jose, Calif., on May 11 to fill a vacancy created by Michael Marks, who recently resigned. KLA-Tencor is a supplier of yield enhancement equipment to integrated circuit manufacturing lines. Wang has served as president of Boeing, China since 2002 and previously was chairman and CEO of GE China. Wang is also a director of Linktone Ltd., a provider of wireless media, entertainment and communication services to mobile phone users in China.
