Burle_CEM-Sel-Guide.jpgThe “Channeltron Electron Multiplier Selection Guide” is available from Burle Electro-Optics Inc., a supplier of standard, retrofit and custom detectors for mass spectrometry. Downloadable from the company Web site, the eight-page document includes a chart of instrument manufacturers, detectors and corresponding Burle models. It describes specialty products, including the miniature Channeltrons, the Magnum electron multipliers with the Extended Dynamic Range option, and the 5910 Magnum models for pulse-counting applications. It discusses the Channeltron technology, which offers high sensitivity and dynamic range and the Long-Life sustained output.
