Vgoal, a subsidiary of Japanese semiconductor distributor KC Uppertech, will distribute ACOL Technologies SA's high-brightness LEDs and LED light engines in Asian markets. The products are used in solid-state lighting applications such as rail and road traffic signals, automotive lights, commercial sigs, architectural effect lighting and general illumination. Vgoal will market ACOL's products through its existing sales network, primarily in China, Taiwan and Japan. ACOL Technologies is based in Geneva, Switzerland, with R&D operations in Moscow and sales offices in Sturbridge, Mass., Moscow and Taiwan.
