Alloptic Inc., a Livermore, Calif., developer of Gigabit Ethernet passive optical networks (GEPONs), announced it has signed a reseller agreement with ProCibernetica of Colombia as part of its continuing expansion into Central and Latin America. ProCibernetica serves Colombia and Ecuador with expertise in the telecommunications and data communications markets. Alloptic provides passive optical access equipment for fiber-to-the-home, business, and multi-dwelling units to facilitate fiber-to-the-premise deployment.
