The SilentWheel GL from
Unaxis Optics is suitable for low-cost front projector applications. Part of the company’s ColorWheel series, the device requires no adhesive on the color ring, eliminating concern over long-term durability during high temperature operations or from UV light exposure. Available in diameters from 40 to 50 mm, the wheel features a plastic hub, a specialized segment shape, a low-cost motor and an operating range of 0 to 85 °C. Single-sided coating is available as an option, and spectral performance is set to the customer’s specifications.
