G. Groot Gregory Joins ORA as Technical Business Analyst
G. Groot Gregory has joined Optical Research Associates (ORA) of Pasadena, Calif,, as a technical business analyst. Gregory will take a leading role in defining and developing customer-based software requirements, application case studies and technical specifications for developing ORA's CODE V and LightTools optical design software products. Gregory has nearly 20 years of optical software design experience, including expertise with both imaging and illumination design programs. He is a SPIE Fellow and associate editor of the SPIE journal Optical Engineering, and a member of OSA. Gregory has published over 25 technical papers and articles on topics including optical analysis to x-ray diagnostics. He holds several degrees from the University of Rochester, including an MS in optics, a BS in physics and a BA in mathematics.
