Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. of Wuxi, China, a manufacturer of photovoltaic (PV) cells and modules, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Olney, Md.-based Suntech America Inc., will immediately begin marketing and selling building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) solar products produced by its MSK Corp. unit in the North American market. Leonard May has been named vice president of business development of Suntech America and will be responsible for the BIPV market in the Americas. May has 12 years of experience at Solarex, which was later acquired by BP Solar.
