Cognex Names Senior Director of New Business Unit

Cognex Corp. of Natick, Mass., a maker of machine-vision sensors and systems, has appointed Pascal Dorster as senior director of In-Vehicle Vision Sensors (IVVS). Using CMOS sensors, digital signal processors and proprietary vision software, the sensors monitor the space around a vehicle and warn drivers when potentially dangerous conditions exist.
