Lumera Corp. is hosting a series of podcast interviews with industry leaders who are familiar with the company’s technology and who have expertise in nanotechnology, bioarrays, drug discovery and wireless technologies. Among those scheduled for the series is Larry Dalton, a professor at the University of Washington who pioneered the electro-optic polymer technology. The podcasts will be available through a variety of distribution networks and can be downloaded from the Web sites of podtech.com, Apple iTunes, Rocky Mountain Podcasting and Lumera.

nano
An SI prefix meaning one billionth (10-9). Nano can also be used to indicate the study of atoms, molecules and other structures and particles on the nanometer scale. Nano-optics (also referred to as nanophotonics), for example, is the study of how light and light-matter interactions behave on the nanometer scale. See nanophotonics.
