OPTICAL FILTERS
A manufacturer of optical filters for the biotechnology and analytical instrumentation markets, Semrock Inc. has released its “2007-2008 Catalog.” The 56-page document presents six product families for a variety of applications, including microscopy and fluorescence instrumentation. More than 50 products and five technical notes were added to the offerings of the previous catalog, released in January. Among the new products featured are the RazorEdge Dichroic beamsplitters for Raman spectroscopy applications and the BrightLine series for fluorescence, including microscopy filter sets for quantum dot nanocrystals, for Förster resonance energy transfer imaging and for near-IR fluorophores. Also included is an expanded range of filters and sets for multiband and multiphoton imaging.
