Hwan Kim Joins Ocean Optics as Optical Research Scientist

HwanKim.jpgDunedin, Fla.-based Ocean Optics, a spectroscopy and photonic instruments manufacturer, has named Hwan Kim, PhD, a specialist in photonics, optics and laser technology, as the company's optical research scientist. In his new role, Kim will focus on characterizing and supporting Ocean Optic’s existing products while helping to develop the next generation of optical measurement technologies. Kim received his PhD in optical physics from the School of Optics/Center for Research and Education in Optics and Lasers (CREOL) at the University of Central Florida, and earned his MS and BS degrees from Pusan National University in South Korea.
