Kate Rundle Named General Counsel at Bookham

Optical components maker Bookham Inc. of San Jose, Calif., announced the appointment of Kate Rundle as executive vice president and general counsel. Rundle, who has nearly 25 years of legal experience in Silicon Valley with expertise in intellectual property (IP), marketing, technology licensing and corporate law, succeeds Tom Kelley, who resigned to remain with his family in Ottawa. Rundle joins the company from MIPS Technologies Inc., where she was general counsel.
