Suss MicroTec AG, a Munich, Germany-based supplier of precision manufacturing and test equipment for the semiconductor industry and related markets, announced it has appointed 3-D technology applications expert Wilfried Bair as vice president, strategic business development. Bair joins the company after many years of management and business development experience in the semiconductor industry throughout Europe, the US and Asia and will initially focus on developing Suss’ 3-D packaging and integration products, the company said.
