The 2008 catalog from Semrock Inc. showcases optical filters for biotechnology and analytical instrumentation. The 64-page, full-color publication features more than 70 new products. Among the additions to the BrightLine series fluorescence filters are sets that have been optimized for fluorescence in situ hybridization clinical-scale genetic screening and the BrightLine Basics sets, with “no burn-out durability” and performance that is competitive with soft-coated fluorescence filters. Additions to the RazorEdge family of ultrasteep edge filters for Raman spectroscopy are included, along with the MaxLamp mercury line filters that efficiently select the arc lamp lines of 254 and 365 nm.
