In California, Ophthalmic Imaging Systems of Sacramento has acquired the assets of AcerMed Inc. of Irvine, a software developer for electronic medical records and practice management. The acquisition was done through the Sacramento company’s newly established subsidiary, Abraxas Medical Solutions Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ophthalmic Imaging Systems is a majority-owned subsidiary of MediVision Medical Imaging Ltd., which is based in Yokneam Elit, Israel.
