eMagin Hires Former Kodak Exec as CEO
Bellevue, Wash.-based eMagin Corp., a developer of organic LED (OLED) microdisplay technology, announced that it has hired 28-year Eastman Kodak Co. veteran Andrew Sculley as its CEO, effective June 1. Sculley will also serve on the company's board. eMagin said acting CEO Thomas Paulsen will continue on as board chairman and Paul Campbell and Susan Jones will retain their appointments as interim chief financial officer (CFO) and chief business/strategy officer, respectively. Sculley most recently served as general manager of Kodak's OLED Systems business unit and vice president of its Display business. During his career there he also held positions in strategic planning, finance, legal and purchasing, and served as manager of operations and CFO of Kodak Japan Ltd. He served on the board of Kodak Japan and SK Display, a joint venture between Sanyo and Kodak to manufacture active matrix OLED displays. Sculley earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and an MS in physics from Cornell University.
