World's 1st Nanoeconomics Graduate
The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) of the University at Albany has announced Dr. Erez Golan received his PhD in Nanoscale Science and Engineering, with a concentration in Nanoeconomics. Dr. Golan, who is now the world’s first graduate in nanoeconomics, earned his degree for pioneering a study in the field that examines the economic and business principles of nanotechnology. “The awarding of the world’s first degree with a concentration in Nanoeconomics is testament to the UAlbany NanoCollege’s growing global recognition as a worldwide leader in educating students who are breaking new ground in the 21st century fields of nanoscale research and discovery,” said Dr. Alain E. Kaloyeros, vice president and chief administrative officer of CNSE. The UAlbany CNSE is the first college in the world dedicated to research, development, education, and deployment in the emerging disciplines of nanoscience, nanoengineering, nanobioscience, and nanoeconomics.
