SANTA ROSA, Calif., Nov. 4, 2008 – Deposition Sciences Inc. has added a method to its family of transparent conductive optical coatings.

Developed to coat the transparent conductive coatings as a cap layer over a dielectric stack, the method allows a single element or material to perform light filtering and EMI shielding. The coatings are designed for maximum conductivity and can be applied to flat sheet stock or precision optics. They feature a high transmission between 450 to 1100 nm. DSI-Conductive-Coatings.jpg

They are compatible with the company’s dichroic filter technology and are enabled by its patented Microdyn sputtering technology. The process offers high performance, uniform transparent conductive filters that remain stable, withstand high thermal loads and changes in humidity.

They are suitable for unmanned aircraft system payloads and thin film applications that require reliable EMI shielding.
