Applied Materials Inc. of Santa Clara, Calif., has announced that Michael Sullivan has joined the company as its vice president of investor relations. He will be responsible for relationships with investors, financial analysts and the broader financial community. He most recently served as investor relations manager for Intel Corp., where he was the primary interface to the company’s equity analysts and to its institutional shareholders in Europe.
