Omega Optical Unveils Poster, Catalog
Omega Optical Inc., maker of optical filters and coatings, has revised its award-winning poster, “The Essence of Fluorescence,” which won the Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge in 2005. Measuring 38 × 16 in., it previously listed more than 300 fluorophores but now includes about 130 additional fluorophores, their excitation and emission peaks, and suggested filter sets. Omega also is introducing its 2009 catalog, “Filters for Fluorescence and Life Science Instrumentation.” This document enables customers to search for products in various ways – by group, center wavelength, cut-on, fluorophore or application – and includes application notes, frequently asked questions, a directory of fluorophores and recommended filter sets.
