Sunrise Solar Corp. of San Antonio has hired Maurice Stone as its new president. Stone is the chairman of the Energy Committee of the National Black Chamber of Commerce. He works closely with the chamber’s Public Policy Group, which includes Chevron, Exxon, AT&T and Wells Fargo. He has been involved in multiple businesses in the energy, technology and health care sectors and served as CEO of a number of retail companies. He spent the early part of his career in the information technology industry with IBM and Digital Equipment Corp.
