Laser Institute of America (LIA) of Orlando, Fla., publisher of the ANSI Z136 series of laser safety standards, is offering an online training course titled “Laser Safety for Physicians,” which will enable physicians who use health-care laser systems for surgery to earn a maximum of two CME credits. The course will include sections on laser terminology, on safety standards, and on how and when to service the laser.
