PerkinElmer Inc. of Waltham, Mass., has acquired Arnel Inc. of Parlin, N.J., a supplier of custom-engineered solutions for gas chromatography. The agreement will strengthen the former company’s position in the biofuels and hydrocarbon-processing industries. The companies had an 18-year relationship before the acquisition.
