Medical Records Institute of Boston has introduced the Center for Cell Phone Applications in Healthcare, a member-based company that will study and advocate for the advancement of cell phone applications in health care. The organization will provide information on current capabilities of modern cell phones, smart phones, PDAs and other mobile technologies, as well as on developments that are under way. It will assist the institute in promoting electronic medical records, e-health and related technologies.
