The Sagemark Companies Ltd. of New York will deploy Hi•Art advanced radiation therapy systems from TomoTherapy Inc. of Madison, Wis., in cancer treatment centers that it plans to develop. The systems use CT imaging and conformal radiation therapy to pinpoint radiation to a tumor, minimizing damage to healthy tissues. The company has placed an order for its first three systems and is finalizing the premise lease for its first TomoTherapy cancer treatment center.
