Aspectrics Inc. has released an application note titled “100 Chemical Pictures Every Second,” which is downloadable from the company’s Web site. The two-page document describes an experiment in which an Aspectrics MC5000A 128-channel encoded photometric infrared (EP-IR) spectrometer covering the 2.5- to 5.0-μm spectral range recorded the kinetics of methanol explosive combustion.
