An agreement for the codevelopment and commercialization of a real-time MRI-guided cardiac electrophysiology system has been announced by Siemens Healthcare of Malvern, Pa., and SurgiVision of Irvine, Calif. The companies will collaborate with the University of Utah in Salt Lake City to create a fully functional system to improve conventional catheter-based cardiac procedures.
