Li-Cor Biosciences of Lincoln, Neb., has offered $1.75 million in genomics education matching funds to high schools, colleges and universities so that they can acquire the company’s DNA sequencing systems and software to study molecular biology and related fields. The systems can be used for such research areas as sequencing, microsatellites, single-nucleotide polymorphisms and reverse genetics.
