LED packaging house and technology provider Everlight Electronics of Taipei, Taiwan, PC monitor manufacturer TPV Technology Ltd. of Hong Kong and LED chip provider Epistar Corp. headquartered in the Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park, Taiwan, have announced the establishment of a joint venture to develop and produce LED packages and light bars for the backlight market. The three companies will share their resources and expertise to provide state-of-the-art LED components and products in thin-film transistor LCD backlight applications. The new enterprise will be located in Fujian Province, China.
