High-speed interconnect provider Molex Inc. of Lisle, Ill., has completed the acquisition of Luxtera Inc.’s Active Optical Cable business, including its Blazar and other derivative optical transceiver products. 8887%%Luxtera, of Carlsbad, Calif., a silicon CMOS photonics provider, will transfer all aspects of its existing and future optical cable business to Molex, including current QSFP+ (quad small form factor pluggable) 40-Gb/s Ethernet and InfiniBand products and customers.
