Applied Biosystems Group of Foster City, Calif., has completed the acquisition of the Research Products Div. of Ambion Inc. of Austin, Texas. The latter develops and supplies products for stabilizing, synthesizing, isolating, detecting, amplifying and quantifying RNA. Recent product introductions include reagents associated with microRNA and RNA interference. Research and development, manufacturing and other operations will continue in Austin.
