e2v, Thales Ink 2 Sensor Contracts

CHELMSFORD, England, July 7, 2011 — Imaging solutions provider e2v and Thales Alenia Space of Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, have signed two contracts worth a total of €4 million ($5.8 million USD). According to the agreements, e2v will supply imaging sensors for high-resolution optical imaging instruments on Thales’ Earth observation satellites. The first contract is for Göktürk, an Earth observation satellite system for the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
