To accelerate the use of new photonic sensor applications in Europe, a group of three European defense contractors and 19 photonics clusters will hold the second Business Round Table for Photonics Sensors on Sept. 8 in Tallinn, Estonia. The roundtable was established to create business relationships between photonic sensor-innovating small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and defense technology integrators seeking specific capabilities and performance. The meeting is expected to accelerate the market presence of key competitive technologies for defense and security applications, organizers said.
