Yenista Opens US Office

LANNION, France, Sept. 30, 2011 — Yenista Optics SA, a maker of fiber optic test and measurement equipment, announced the establishment of Yenista Optics Inc. and the opening of its US office in Princeton, N.J.

The new facility will provide pre- and post-sales support to its North American customers, including repair and calibration services for Tunics tunable lasers and OSICS products manufactured in the past by Photonetics, Nettest and Anritsu. Original replacement parts are also available.

“We have successfully introduced Yenista’s products on the North American market through a partnership with JGR Services,” said Yenista CEO Michiel van der Keur. “Establishing the US office will build on this foundation to provide enhanced support and services to our US customers.” He added that the Canadian market will continue to be served through its partnership with JGR Services.

Yenista specializes in tunable laser and tunable filter products for the telecommunications industry, particularly dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) applications.
