Cubic Wins $19M for Laser-Based Troop Trainer

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 25, 2011 — Cubic Defense Applications, the defense systems business unit of Cubic Corp., has won a $19 million competitive contract for the Instrumentable Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System Individual Weapons Systems (I-MILES IWS). The contract was awarded by the US Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation. The award is for an upgraded Performance Specifications that the Army calls I-MILES IWS 2010.
