eMagin Nabs $1M OLED Microdisplay Contract

BELLEVUE, Wash., Feb. 6, 2012 — eMagin Corp. has received a $1.12 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract from the US Special Operations Command to optimize its WUXGA organic LED (OLED) microdisplay for mass production. The project includes a $435,000 option. Under the contract, eMagin plans to make the 1920 × 1200-pixel OLED microdisplay more affordable for military and commercial applications.
