EKSMA OPTICS introduces new D-Compact series Pockels cells with KD*P crystals for Q-switching and cavity dumping of compact medical, aesthetic, scientific and industrial lasers.
New cell features compact 1 inch diameter housing, low transmission losses T>97% and high contrast ratio >1:2000. D-compact requires typical 6.8 kV DC half wave voltage at 1064 nm. Housing of the cell is hermetically sealed. DKDP crystal and windows have high damage threshold AR coating at 1064 nm. AR coatings for other laser wavelengths are also available.
