Precision spacers, shims, submounts, rings, washers, and blocks are manufactured from various materials. Shims of all sizes, thicknesses, and surface finishes can be precisely manufactured to your specifications and made from materials including Aluminum Nitride, Alumina, Fused Silica, Fused Quartz, Soda Lime Glass and Borosilicate glass. Parts may be sized from as small as 250um square and as thin as 25um thick to as large as 450mm diameter. Spacer components with accurate pitch tolerances may be sequentially spaced to less than ¼ micron, flat to less than 1/10 wave, lapped or polished finishes. Many of these are readily available from stock. These can be custom shaped, lapped or polished to perfection. Custom edge profiles and cavities are also available.
